The Korean release starts straight into the game with English voices by default. A community report for players who want Japanese voices from the start.

Reportedly, switching voices to Japanese on the title screen and then deleting the save also wipes the setting, so English returns. Reported workaround: set the Switch 2 system language to Japanese (subtitles become Japanese too), start the game, return to the title screen and switch the system language back to Korean. Japanese save data can be continued, but Eshmel's name then accepts only kana or Latin letters, so a Korean name requires deleting the data and restarting.
